Perhaps you can be tempted beyond the Isle of Man by these pictures, Bearsome!

The Shannon Estuary is home to a school of some 120 Bottlenose Dolphins and there are boat operators who will bring you out to see them.

The guide said that because of the large quantity of food available and the fact that they don't have to travel far to find it, the Shannon Bottlenose Dolphins are the largest in the world.

You get brought across the estuary to the north coast of County Kerry to cliffs known as the Clare Shoals. They're full of nesting birds such as this Razorbill.

The Devil's Footstool, the Eagle's Nest Stack and the wreck of an American ship that was wrecked after delivering a cargo of grain to Limerick. The crew were able to scramble ashore and no lives were lost.

And after all that, you can drive off to Loop Head and have a picnic looking across at (for us at any rate) Kerry's blue remembered hills.
