Introducing the NEW Countryfile Magazine
We’ve been talking to you about how we can improve your favourite magazine. Here’s what we’ve come up with…
Bigger
You wanted more of Adam Henson. Now, every month, Countryfile’s resident farmer reveals the everyday dramas that the nation’s farmers have to face.
Better
You wanted more ideas on where to go and what to do. Now Countryfile’s Julia Bradbury introduces the new Great Days Out section, with 20 inspiring escapes to the country every month.
More beautiful
You wanted a cleaner design and more beautiful photography. We’ve given the whole magazine an attractive new look to help you enjoy the countryside you love.

New Look Countryfile Magazine
Much of the new look magazine is very good, but I am very disappointed by the Great Days Out which no longer come as pull-out cards. I have collected all of them from the very first issue, but now they are just flimsy pieces of paper.
The Top 10 Alternative Breaks is obviously aimed at those people with a huge disposable income (not me). There are a great many country lovers who have a very small budget.
Unfortunately, as a whole the magazine seems to be turning into the Julia Bradbury Magazine in the same way that Countryfile has turned into the Julia Bradbury Show (the show was always the star, Ms. Bradbury is not and is the single reason I stopped watched a long time ago).
