I've always loved autumn best, the smells and colours, closely followed by spring, its freshness and renewal. Winter's ok if it's dry and crisp. Loathe summer since early childhood makes me ratty, hayfever aside, it saps all energy and enthusiasm for anything. Temperate temperatures for me everytime. Interesting to see spring surge ahead of autumn in the poll.
I'm with you on Autumn. There's something very special about wrapping up against the waning conditions and heading out to explore the rich colours of the season, spotting fungi springing up in the damp ground beneath your feet and then stopping for a good steaming mug on tea. Simple magic.

Perhaps if you did the poll again in Autumn more people would vote for it
