Maggie Curtis is a freelance ceramic artist residing and working in Appledore, North Devon. Her work ranges from architectural ceramics to domestic ware. Maggie's bespoke architectural ceramics follow the traditions of Victorian terracotta and include sculptural ridge tiles, finials , capitals, embossed tiles, friezes, and garden sculpture. Reproduction and restoration work undertaken. Teaching workshops available by appointment.

Walk with a wolf

Little Dart

This collection of scale model of British lighthouses consists of nine models: Lizard and Trevose Head, Cornwall; Smeatons Tower and Start Point, Devon; Portland Bill, Dorset; Nash Point, south Wales; Orfordness and Southwold, Suffolk; and Cromer, Norfolk. There will be a further seven models in 2010, all based on surveys and architects’ drawings. The accurate models are hand-painted and presented in a full colour box packed with information about the lighthouse.
